Kaula Tantra
Nondual Tantra teachings
Explore the ways we Celebrate Life
At our ashram, we share a transformative space and community, rooted in the wisdom of Kashmiri-Śaiva Tantra where seekers engage in deep self-inquiry, ritual practice, and embodied experience. Our teachings integrate tantric philosophy, mantra, puja, and āsana, emphasizing the balance of Śiva and Śakti as a lived reality.
We explore the art of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) to foster PLAY i.e. self-responsibility, honesty, and compassionate connection. Through tools like ecstatic dance, body work, and Play, we cultivate awareness beyond intellectual understanding, encouraging a direct experience of prana, joy, and nonduality. This journey is one of self-discovery, where all aspects of life—pleasure, challenge, and stillness, are embraced as expressions of the divine.

“Here there is no purity and no impurity, no dualism nor nondualism, no ritual nor its rejection, no renunciation and no possession...all the observances, rules and regulations [found in other Tantras] are neither enjoined nor prohibited in this way. Or, everything is enjoined, and everything forbidden here! In fact, there is but one commandment on this [higher path], O Queen of the Gods: the yogī is to make every effort to steady his awareness on reality. He must practice whatever makes that possible for him.”
Mālinīvijayottara-tantra, Translated by Christopher Wallis in Tantra Illuminated, p187
We see this Reality as Devi's Play
We see this reality as a dream, as a play of Her own free will. SKaSTA is our sandbox, where we bring our most precious tools and practices to share with the community in order to play and celebrate this reality as Her.
To support your embodiment as a Divine and experience all aspects of this Reality as the Divine Play, we share different traditional Tantra and contemporary tools to remind you of the blissful nature of life. We play as we dance, breathe, express our emotions, sing and invite our community members to share their unique gifts. Some of the tools we share are: Nonviolent communication, Ecstatic Dance, somatic embodiment practices and breathwork.

Nonviolent Communication
In Tantra, self awareness and heart connection are at the core of our practice,. Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a powerful tool that helps us embody these principles in daily life.
Tantra teaches that all of life is divine play (Līlā), and true connection arises when we dissolve the illusion of separation. NVC supports the breakthrough of our stories and limiting belief by guiding us to respons(aibility) and skillful communication with honesty, presence, and compassion—seeing ourselfs and others beyond judgment, beyond "right" and "wrong."
In our weekly Satsangs we will dive deep into the principles of NVC. We can actualize our learned communication skills in our everyday life within the Community. Our Ashram provides the ultimate playground to integrate and improve your communication skills - so that you can go back and share them in your everyday life. In this space of openness and reflection, you will gain the tools to become a master in communication, both in your relationships and, most importantly, within yourself.
"Out beyond ideas of wrong and right, there is a field. I'll meet you there."
- Rumi
Dance, Play and Celebrate Life
As part of our Tantra Yoga Immersion, our sharings create a deeply supportive and transformative space where learning becomes an embodied experience and play. Through Ecstatic Dance, Breath-Play (breath work) sessions, dynamic meditations, and other offerings shared by us and our long-term community members, we cultivate authentic self-expression, deep presence, and energetic alignment.
These practices help us to dissolve limitations, awaken the body’s innate intelligence, and bring us into a state of flow and connection. Sharing is not just about speaking—it is about witnessing, listening, and holding space for each other with presence and sincerity.
Together, we create an immersive field of transformation. Ensuring that each practitioner steps into the world not just as a teacher but as a living embodiment of the tantric path.
